Ross Beer Festival

The successful Beer and Cider Festival returns to Ross-on-Wye on May Bank Holiday. Based at Ross Rowing Club, the event opens at midday on both the Saturday and Sunday of the May Bank Holiday weekend. Featuring locally brewed beers and ciders, favourites from previous years such ass “Old Prickly” will return, together with many new beers to suit all tastes.

Food will be available – BBQ, snacks, hot and cold nibbles to help the drinks go down. Local bands and musicians play afternoon and evening, the headline bands being listed on the website at www.rossbeerfest.org and in the festival guide. A ticket for a day cost just £5 each which not only provides entry but also a free beer glass and festival guide. The weather is often great for May Bank Holiday, but we never trust it so there will be a cover for all areas. Sessions run from 12 noon – 11pm on Saturday and 12 noon – 10pm on Sunday.

Worth popping down to sample some local beers and hospitality while enjoying a day out in the Wye Valley.
